Machining

Our equipment was first purchased specifically to make our injection molds in house, but now serves to make a variety of parts.

We can machine your small parts, from quantities as low as a single unit, or perform typical job shop operations on your item such as drilling and tapping.

Steel comes to mind whenever the word machining is used, but our equipment is not limited to just steel. Not only can we machine other metals such as brass and aluminum, but can also work in woods and plastics too.

We also use the equipment to make replacement parts and inhouse tooling jigs fixtures and adapters etc.

MAHO MH600C 5-axis NC milling machine

We have just added a MAHO MH600C to the shop.

This machine is equiped with robot arm which changes the tool from a selection of 24 tool holders.

It also is both a horizontal and a vertical machine.

And in addition to moving X,Y,Z, it also rotates in two planes for a total of 5-Axis machining.

An awesome machine, it will allow us to branch into making larger molds, and machining more complex shapes and cavities.

In addition to mold making we are also available to do machining, turning, boring, milling, drilling, tapping, and other general machine shop operations.

We also have a vertical-horizontal rotary table we use with the milling machine, as well as a metal lathe and and automatic die head for cutting threads quickly on a production basis.

We are interested in both production work as well as doing individual proto-type or single run projects.
