Equipment & Capabilities

Delphi O.E.M. Co. has accumulated tools and equipment over more than 45 years. The shop combines machining, metal fabrication, plastics, woodworking, and electronic test equipment, allowing many small parts and products to be made, modified, tested, or repaired in-house.

Machining

Our machining equipment is used for making and modifying components, tooling, fixtures, molds, and production parts. The shop includes:

• Milling machine
• Metalworking lathe
• Tool and cutter grinder
• Rotary table and indexing equipment
• Machine vises and workholding equipment
• Drills, reamers, end mills, boring tools, and other cutting tools
• Micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment

Metal Fabrication

• Plasma cutter

Electronics & Test Equipment

Our electronics bench supports circuit assembly, troubleshooting, testing, measurement, and prototype work. Equipment includes:

• Iwatsu SS-5711 Quad trace analog and digital 100 MHz oscilloscope
• Function / signal generator
• Frequency counter
• Variable dual-output DC bench power supply
• Digital multimeters
• Digital capacitance meter
• Transistor / component tester
• CCTV / video test equipment
• Breadboards and prototyping equipment
• Soldering irons and electronic assembly tools

Woodworking

Our woodworking equipment supports cutting, shaping, sanding, assembly, and general fabrication of wood components and products. Equipment includes:

• Table saw
• Radial arm saw
• Chop saw

• Wide-belt sander
• Miscellaneous pneumatic, electric, and hand tools

Plastics & Injection Molding

Our plastics equipment supports injection molding, material preparation, regrinding, secondary operations, and prototype work. Equipment includes:

• Morgan G-100T injection molding machine
  • Clamping force: 20 tons maximum
  • Maximum shot size: 4 oz. (approximately 6 to 7.5 cubic inches of plastic volume)
  • Maximum injection pressure: 12,000 PSI
  • Temperature range: 0°F to 800°F
  • Mold plan area: 8″ x 11″
• Desiccant-bed dryer and plastics hopper
• Plastics regrind machine
• Auxiliary drill press
